Longwood is one of America’s quintessential landscapes, with handcrafted feats of horticultural wonder, and an awe-inspiring collection of the most beautiful plants from around the globe. At Christmas time horticulture artists use plants as their palette to create an extraordinary display with festive trees draped in delights, gardens of bold blooms, and so much more. Outside, more than 500,000 lights delight, colorful fountains dance to holiday music, and surprises await at every turn. This is a self-guided walking tour. Solo participants are welcome to spend the Parks and Recreation staff. Rain or shine, this is an indoor and outdoor experience, wear comfortable shoes and dress for the outdoors. Wheelchairs and motorized scooters are available for a fee from Longwood.  It is a two-hour drive, we will arrive at 2:00 pm and leave at 7:45 pm, this leaves you six hours to explore and dine.
