Touch-A-Truck Day
Touch-A-Truck Day
Saturday, November 7, 2026 (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) (EST)
Description
Ages: All Ages | Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This annual event has been described as “a parade that stands still!”. Again, this year: “Hold the Horn” from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, a special hour of quiet—no horns, flashing lights, or sirens! Imagine dump trucks, fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, military jeeps, and lots more; over 25 vehicles all in one place—parked so kids of all ages can get a close-up look! Join us on Saturday, November 8th at Deer Path Park, located at 120 West Woodschurch Road in Flemington, for this exciting event. From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM you will be able to examine these cool motorized hunks of steel at Hunterdon County Division of Parks & Recreation’s Annual Touch-A-Truck. This event is free with no pre-registration required; however, donations are appreciated and will help defray the cost of the program. It is open to all ages (children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult). The atmosphere is relaxed, pressure-free, and noncommercial. Don’t forget your camera! If you have an idea of a vehicle we could add to our fleet contact Patrick at peckard@co.hunterdon.nj.us or call (908) 782-1158.
Cost: Free! No pre-registration required.
