The term "equinox" originates from the Latin words "aequus," meaning "equal," and "nox," meaning "night." It denotes the two days annually when daylight and darkness each span 12 hours. With the Autumn Equinox, we anticipate shorter days marking the onset of fall. Join naturalist Debra Reed on a twilight hike to observe the natural world's shift from summer to autumn, from daylight to nightfall.
