2025 Young Professional Award - Jess Huber

2025 Young Professional Award - Jess Huber
It is our honor to present this year’s Young Professional Award, a distinction that recognizes an emerging leader in our community who exemplifies dedication, innovation, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact. The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes Jess Huber, Programming Associate at America’s Grow-a-Row.
Jess joined America’s Grow-a-Row in April 2020 and has since played a vital role in the organization’s mission to combat food insecurity and educate the public on healthy living and environmental stewardship. In her role, she leads volunteer groups in the fields, provides educational programming both on and off the farm, and coordinates the impactful Grow-a-Row Kids Farm Days, inspiring the next generation through hands-on learning.
Prior to joining Grow-a-Row, Jess contributed her talents to Valley Crest Farm and Preserve, where she served as Office Manager, managed the CSA program, and supported day-to-day farm operations. In addition to her agricultural and nonprofit experience, Jess spent eight years as a preschool teacher—further reflecting her deep commitment to education and community engagement.
Jess’s academic accomplishments are equally impressive. She holds an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Raritan Valley Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior from Rutgers University. Her educational background reflects a thoughtful and informed approach to addressing the complex intersections of food systems, environmental challenges, and public health.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Jess enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her dogs—further reflecting her love for nature and balanced living.
Jess Huber is a shining example of what it means to lead with heart, intellect, and purpose. She represents the very best of Hunterdon County’s young professional community.
Please join us in congratulating Jess Huber, recipient of the 2025 Young Professional Award.
